Does the number of notified Hunters you have really make a difference?

Hey there! I'm about to launch my first product here and I'm wondering if having more people notified actually matters. And if it does, how do you go about attracting them? I'd love to hear about your experiences and thoughts on this!

Here is my product by the way: https://www.producthunt.com/prod... Aesty – an easy-to-use iOS wardrobe organizer app. We aim to enhance the efficiency of how people manage their clothing in a transparent and explainable way. Would love to see your feedback on the app as well

I’d imagine it depends on whether you rely on those people to take action and check out your product once they get notified. In which case they may or may not see the email notification, and may or may not click into it. So in that case it’s a 50/50 chance of getting an upvote. If you have 500 hunters on your list that may be a lot of votes for your product! If you also follow up with each of them directly to remind them that your product is live , you’ve just increased your chances of getting eyes on your product. Also, do you know who these people are and how they joined the list ? Did you invite them to follow your page or did they do it at their own discretion? Are they engaging with your community posts ? Are they truly interested in your product etc. I honestly think that it is certainly better to have more than less , but it’s also important to understand that you have to proactively engage with them prior to your launch.

@simona_o_neill3 Hey Simona, thanks for your insights! You've raised some really important questions. While having a big audience is great, it's also crucial to understand who they are and how interested they might be in the product. So, finding this balance is key, as you pointed out. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts! Would love to see your feedback on my launch day – stay in touch:)

Not much beneficial, from my experience in my previous 2 launches. What I've found helpful though was DMs on Twitter and LinkedIn. Work on building an audience on those social platforms.

By the way, we're also working on developing our own product, although we're primarily an outsourcing company. So, it would be interesting to hear the thoughts and experiences of those who have already launched their product 😊🦾
